Sarah did her PhD in the Weis lab, where she studied alternative mechanisms of translation initiation in the model organism S. cerevisiae. Upon graduating, she started a new role as scientific writer for the lab. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing, making music, playing table tennis, and fair-weather flânerie.
