Annika Künne

I did my master’s in biology at the TU Braunschweig, specializing in cell biology and biochemistry. I have now joined the Weis Lab for my PhD, where I want to investigate how modifications of tRNA influence cellular quiescence and senescence. Particularly, I am interested in their role in proteostasis, aiming to learn more about the connection between these modifications and ageing and neurodegenerative diseases.
